Terms & Conditions

 Prospectus 

  • Registration and entries will be accepted at: www.yaa2023.artcall.org
  • Up to 110 pieces will be accepted into the exhibition. If you do not know by Friday, 10/6, that your work has been accepted or declined, please check your email spam folder.
  • Open to all fine artists and limited to three (3) digital submissions.
  • Submitted images are not to include framing unless the frame is created as an integral part of the artwork.
  • Juror may disqualify any accepted works in the exhibition from awards if they are misrepresented by the submitted digital image on entry.
  • Original, non-functional fine art only, executed in the past two years and not previously accepted in the YAA Open Juried Exhibition. All mediums accepted including sculpture.
  • A $35 (member) or $50 (non-member) non-refundable fee is required to enter up to three pieces. To become a member, go to: yorkartassociation.org/join-us or call the office at (717)755-0028.
  • All pieces must be dry and wired securely with braided wire for hanging. Saw-toothed hangers will not be accepted at intake.
  • All 2-D work must be framed or finished in a professional manner. Gallery-wrapped canvas edges must be finished.
  • Dimensions must not exceed 48”x60”, including the frame.
  • Heavy sculpture must be handled and set up by the artist.
  • All accepted entries must be hand-delivered to York Art Association at 220 S Marshall St. York, PA 17402 during receiving dates and times.
  • Entries may not be removed prior to the close of the exhibit (12/17/23 at 4pm).
  • All entries are insured from delivery through 12/19/2023 only.
  • Consent for image reproduction for publicity, catalog, or educational purposes is assumed upon entry.
  • Sales: YAA collects a 25% (members) or 30% (non-members) commission for all work sold during the exhibition. “Not for Sale” work must have a declared value for insurance purposes. “Price on Request” is not permitted, nor are prices for prints.
  • If you are unable to retrieve your art during scheduled hours, the artist MUST make arrangements for someone else to do so. York Art Association is not responsible for work left unclaimed after 2pm on 12/19/2023.
